I've attached my %jasonc devtool target (modified %standalone) that I
just got working in case it helps anyone.  It's targeted for my mac so
a lot of the tests and conditionals are stripped out (nothing wrong
with them in the standalone target it's just easier for me to
understand what is happening this way).  I'd like to sync up the
general configuration options with what you're using in macports land,
that's the next step for me.
