The same hack would be needed in file as well to build 4.5 successfully on
x86_64 - based on http://rpm5.org/community/rpm-devel/0036.html by Michael
Jennings. But wouldn't it be better to use the LDFLAGS="-Bsymbolic" and the
CFLAGS="-DPIC -fPIC" as Jeff mentioned in IRC some minutes ago - have a
look to http://rpm5.org/community/rpm-devel/1131.html for reference. As far
as I got Jeff, this would be likely more pedantically correct...especially
if we care about PPC. So can we just switch?
