My vote is still to let "rpm2cpio" be a real program (rpm2cpio.c),
and provide both of rpm2cpio.sh and rpm2cpio.pl as library helpers ?

And this counts double when including support for xar rpms as well,
since the script workaround that I toyed with looked like a kludge...
