Perfectly OK, the predominant viewpoint is that rpm-5.0 "just works"
for all possible prefixes.

The issue is that /var doesn't really fit into a $prefix hierarchical  
scheme
nicely. So the AutoFu needs to guess what was intended with --prefix.
