Thanks. The lzma code is quite puzzling, with influences from non-C  
and likely non-unix,
as I proceed privately removing the c99ism's using splint.

There's gonna be a bit of work stabilizing (or keeping up w the 5.0  
liblzma release) afaict.

I'll do the import in the next 24 hours ...
