I fully understand what Stegfan asked for -- what he "wants" isn't/wasn't
privy to me.

And there is an implementation in place for 5 years that
automatically creates the necessary edge, with the right direction, in
the dependency graph if you (and other) distros turn it on.

What remains are non-rpm "handy" and "convenient" issues
changing from status quo ante.

And what also remains is teaching the tools to actually use linkto dependencies,
and to figure a representaion in synthesis, in repo-md, in
DUDF and everywehre else, for what is already implemented
for 5 years.

Or add -DRPM_VENDOR_MANDRIVA and have *exactly* what you wanted
and requested. I cease to care about burned out train wrecks
from last century like Suggests: and Requires: devel(foo).

I already know my answers, and wish to move "forward".

You have your check-in merged all active branches. That's a fact Jack.
