Ah. The "traditional" configurarion macros have been split into a L
== local and R == remote
vaiants so that a fetch can be inserted in between.

E.g. Usually you change %_sourcedir to change the path /usr/src/rpm/

These days %_Lsourcedir serves that function in rpm, and %_sourcedir
is set to %_Lsourcedir.

If %_Rsourcedir is defined, and some file is not found in %
_Lsourcedir, then a fetch
is undertaken from %{_Rsourcedir} => %{_Lsourcedir}.

Likely non-functional in rpm-5.0, mostly because everyone wants to do
the fetch
differently, and network access is disabled by rpm5.org policy
choice. I've twice setup examples
(you're looking at the example config from my last setup), but the
interest (except for one guy in Hungary)
has been non-existent judging from weblogs.

I'll get back to the fetch over the next couple months. The higher
priority is establishing rpmio
bona fides.
