RPM 5.x and mingw

Hi, has anyone got RPM 5.x compiled successfully with mingw ? So far we use RPM 5.x with cygwin. Another tool provider brings its own cygwin installation.We try to get around any incompatibilities. Thats why I ask for mingw.
