One last item:

If all else fails, put the missing symlink end-points in
	/etc/rpm/sysinfo/Providename
1-path perl line, to mask the dependency.

To mask parent directory dependencies, use
	/etc/rpm/sysinfo/Dirnames

Until parentdir/linktos get picked up by mainstream distro
packaging, with better *.rpm packaging as clear benefit, all that can be
done for the nonce is supporting sneaky hack-o-rounds to get @rpm5.org
functional using existing de facto quality packaging from
existing distro vendors.
